MICS expansion takes off
05/20/2011The Waterloo Foundation from the UK has confirmed to donate £58,162 for internet connectivity at 6 rural schools euro in Macha and Mukinge. Internet is important in rural schools because of the structural shortage of qualified teachers and learning resources. The internet connects teachers with peers and enables them to share experience and become part of a learning environment. Waterloo Foundation is the first large English private fund that support Macha Works. In the UK Macha Works partners with Computer Aid and this first donation is a great success for the very valuable partnership.
