Running a media company with
Communication, video and photographing
I was born in Monze on the 17th of December, 1981. Born in a family of seven. I have three brothers and three sisters. I did my primary school education at Justin Kabwe Primary School, Lusaka. For my secondary school, I started at Chibolya Basic, Lusaka. In 1996, my father lost his job as the company he was working for was privatised. He decided to move the family to Choma. I initially remained with one of my uncles in Lusaka and in 1997, I joined the family in Choma where my father found a job as a mechanic and driver at Macha Mission Hospital.
After moving to Macha I completed secondary school at Francis Davidson in 2002. In 2001 my father passed away. Life became difficult for us without his support. For my education MCC supported my school fees. For upkeep, I had to take pictures and sell them. I also got a job as an office orderly. So I would work early in the morning before class and during weekends. I would manage to raise enough funds for both my immediate brother and I to travel to Pemba during school breaks, where my mother moved with the rest of my sisters and brothers.
In 2000, I came to develop interest in computers and my dream to start my own ICT and design company! In 2003, I heard about the plans to open up an Internet Cafe! The start of a great ICT leaning experience! Everything I learnt is self taught through the Internet. By 2004 LinkNet was realised and was looking very promising. I worked for LinkNet up to 2009. Now I have started my own business in Web design and Media.
